We’ve yet another exciting mobile handset to tell you about here on MyShoppingTips.com, so you can add this new device to your ever-expanding wish list!
The HTC Magic is an Andriod-powered smartphone that is exclusive to Vodafone. It ticks all the right boxes and is due for release later this month (April 2009) and is a sleek and stylish handset that’s in direct competition with the likes of the iPhone, LG KM900 Arena, the Nokia N97 and many other touch screen mobiles.
What perhaps sets the HTC Magic apart from other similar mobiles is that it is exclusive to Vodafone and you’re probably not as familiar with HTC as you are with your Samsungs, Nokias and Sony Ericssons. Don’t be put of by this!
HTC has a vast range of innovative and powerful handsets that are becoming more and more popular by the minute.
The new HTC Magic is no different; if you’re looking for an entertainment handset with cutting edge technology, this is it. Users will be able to take full advantage of the HTC Magic’s 3.2 Megapixel Camera with auto focus and video-recording capability and once you’ve captured a special moment, you can upload it direct to YouTube or share it with your mates via E-mail or MMS.
Playing your music is also very simple thanks to the HTC Magic’s built-in MP3 Player and wireless Bluetooth headsets, whilst surfing the net is also incredibly easy. 3G, Wi-Fi, GPRS, HSDPA and Triband are all present, so you can browse the internet at some speed and you can even access all of Google’s wonderful applications such as Google Maps Street View and mail.
The 3.2″ TFT LCD touch-sensitive flat screen has a 320×480 HVGA resolution and is plenty big enough for watching films and viewing web pages. As for storage, users have two options; there’s a SDMicro memory card slot, so expanding the HTC Magic’s existing internal memory of 512MB up to 16GB shouldn’t be a problem.
As you can see from the picture, the HTC Magic is a very stylish device. At just 13.7mm thick the HTC Magic is smooth, sleek and fairly lightweight and we’re all agreed that the slimline design is definitely worth drooling over.
The HTC Magic hasn’t yet been released, but you won’t be waiting long. It is expected to be available for pre-order direct from Vodafone from Friday 17th April 2009, but you can register for updates now. You should expect to pay about £599.99 for a HTC Magic handset, but keep an eye out for cheap monthly contract deals at Carphone Warehouse and Phones 4u.
