New Star Trek (XI) DVD - Available To Pre-Order From July 3rd 2009
The new 2009 Star Trek movie (XI) has only just hit UK cinemas and has already received rave reviews. This is the eleventh Star Trek film to be released, but it is actually a prequel to the previous films and the television series.
Star Trek (XI) - starring Zachary Quinto (Spock) and Leonard Nimoy (elder Spock) - is set in the year 2387 and sees the galaxy in serious danger, no thanks to an unstable supernova.
After a particularly explosive string of events, the crew of the most advanced starship known to man (U.S.S. Enterprise) fall into the trap of a black hole and are transported back into the past and straight into the hands of danger.
James T Kirk (Chris Pine) and the rest of the U.S.S. Enterprise crew must think fast in order to save mankind from certain devastation, when an evil being threatens to destroy all that the new recruits and the captain have ever known.
However, things aren’t that simple. Kirt and Spock are worst enemies, but they are forced to put their differences aside and work together in a desperate attempt to put a stop to the galactic chaos.
