The new England 2009/10 home kit was recently revealed after much anticipation and now we’ve got another new strip to look foward to. The Liverpool FC Away Kit for the 2009/10 season is now available to pre-order from Kitbag.com and it’s really affordable.

The new phantom (black) and gold Liverpool Away Kit is set to be a vast improvement on the team’s current away strip, which is grey, red and slightly plain. The Carlsberg sponsor logo will apparently be gold and the bulk of the shirt will be “phantom” black. Adidas’s ever present 3-stripes will be found in gold running half way down the sleeves above a thin red strip to tie in nicely with Liverpool’s traditional colours.

These details given on the assumption that Liverpool FC’s 2009/10 Away Kit is anything like the shirt printed in the leaked images on the net. The wait is almost over and the new England Home Shirt for the 2009/11 season is nearly here. We’re no longer being kept in the dark about the design and at least now if you pre-order a shirt, you know what you’re getting.

England wore the new strip on Saturday 28th March when they played in a friendly against Slovakia and it has received a mixed reaction.

The new 2009/11 England Home Shirt isn’t what we’d initially expected, as the “leaked” pictures that we featured on an earlier blog here on MyShoppingTips.com don’t depict the real design of the new shirt. Perhaps the shirt shown in the “leaked” images is set to be a training shirt or something of the sort.

The real design of the new England Home Shirt for the 2009/11 season is very minimalistic with a slightly retro feel to it, as it is a plain white polo style t-shirt with the red Umbro logo on the right side and the England badge on the left of the shirt.

Critics are saying that this new England Home Shirt for 2009/11 is quite similar in style to the kit that was worn before 1970, as it is tailored and fitted unlike some of the more recent “baggy” styles we have seen.

The shirt has been available to pre-order for some time now, but before now fans have been unsure of what to expect. I’m not totally convinced that hours of thought has gone into the new England 2009/11 Home Shirt, as it is incredibly simple and there’s not a lot going on. You know what they so though, sometimes less is more!

By toning down the colour and design of the shirt, the eyes are drawn straight to the England crest and Umbro Logo. Our hard earned “star” from the World Cup win back in 1966 is now stitched in white above the England emblem, so it’s even less noticeable than before unfortunately!

All negatives aside, the new England Home Strip for 2009/11 is a nice looking shirt and, simple though it may be, it’s fresh and trendy and is guaranteed to be a big hit with England fans everywhere!

Is this the new England Home Kit 2009/11?

The new Umbro England Home shirt for the 2009/11 season is to be launched on April 1st 2009.

There have been various leeks on the net about what people think the new shirt will look like, but nothing has been confirmed as of yet.

It’s thought that the new England Home Kit will have a lot more red and less of the traditional blue incorporated in the design.

It seems the designers have gone for simple and minimalistic (if the leaked images of the new England Home shirt are correct).

The new England Home Kit has apparently gone up in price (in comparison to the current kit) and will retail at £50.00.

The launch day of April 1st has some significance, as it’s the day England are playing against Ukraine at home in a 2010 World Cup Qualifier.

Although the images of new England Home shirt have been leaked to the media, it’s not concrete and it’s uncertain whether or not this will actually be the strip that England will wear for the 2009/11 season.

Even though the squad have apparently seen and been photographed in their new Home kit, they’ve done a good job keeping schtum about the design and general appearance of the shirt.
