We seem to be stuck in some sort of gamers paradise lately, as there are now so many must-have video games available to pre-order from various online stores such as HMV.com, Play.com and Game.co.uk.

Monsters Vs Aliens has already hit the shelves, but the more hardcore gamers are still waiting patiently for Ghostbusters, Resident Evil 5 and Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (both of which have been reviewed here on MyShoppingTips.com) to be released.

Now the gamers must wait once more for the Max Payne 3 Xbox 360 video game, but if you’re really sick of hanging around you can pre-order a copy today.

Max Payne is a third-person shooter video game which tells the tale of a man on a mission. In the first game of the series, Max Payne returns home only to find that his wife and baby daughter have been murdered by gang of ‘Valkyr’ drug junkies.

Players must take up the position of Max Payne as a New York Police Detective in the DEA, as he sets out to bring justice to those responsible for the death of his family.

In the third installment, Max Payne 3, players will find that Max has left New York and his position in the police force behind and has set out on a new path of revenge.

As with the first two video games, the A.I. of Max Payne 3 relies heavily on pre-scripted commands and the trademark “bullet time” is again present, slowing down time to allow players to dodge the deadly consequences of gunfire. Max is slightly older and angrier than ever and the game’s graphics really do justice for the fast action and shooting scenes.

Max Payne 3 will have a darker feel to it than its predecessors, as Max seems to be giving up hope of ever finding out the truth and avenging the death of his loved ones.

Gamers should expect more intense action and plenty of bloodshed as they set out on a one-man mission with nothing but their weapons and skills to help them.

Max Payne 3 isn’t due for release until Friday 30th October 2009, but one of the cheapest places to pre-order a copy today is Play.com.

Cheap TP271 King2 14ft Trampoline - John Lewis £416

As summer quickly approaches, we’re doing all we can to let you know about the best deals on garden products and accessories, so that your outdoor living experience of 2009 will be one to remember.

A tramploine can provide hours of fun and easy exercise during the warmer months and they’re not all that expensive either. I’m speaking from experience here, as I’m lucky enough to have a 12ft TP Trampoline in my back garden that has been the centre of attention at many BBQs and has also proved to be an ideal spot for sunbathing!

I’ve been checking out what sort of deals are available, so that you can rest assured that you have found some of the cheapest trampolines and accessories available.

If it’s a small trampoline you’re after, Argos have a good range of mini fitness trampolines which are ideal for gentle exercise. You can buy a cheap Reebok REM-10038 Mini Trampoline for just £29.39 from Argos, but I definitely wouldn’t recommend attempting any somersaults on this thing!

If you had something a bit more ambitious in mind but don’t want to break the bank, Argos also have an 8ft Trampoline Enclosure for the bargain price of £58.79. It’s safe enough for the kids (6+) and spacious enough for the even bigger kids (i.e. you)!

Toys R Us is also a fantastic place to shop for outdoor sports and they have a great range of affordable trampolines. You can buy a Plum 12ft Premium Trampoline and Enclosure for £349.99 from Toys R Us and although that may sound expensive, it’s well worth the money and you’ll get plenty of use out of it.

You can also find a vast range of swimming pools at Toys R Us which are great for cooling off in after a session on the Trampoline, although don’t try and be clever by jumping from the trampoline into the pool. Speaking from experience again, that will result in a broken ankle or something much, much worse!

B&Q was my next stop in the search for affordable trampolines and outdoor fun and I was pleasantly surprised by the wide range available. Something that I hadn’t seen in many other stores was this Folding 12ft Trampoline With Cover and Enclosure for £198.00 at B&Q, which I really like that look of. Trampolines are very appealing, but they do take up a lot of room in your garden, but with this folding model from www.diy.com that really isn’t an issue!

John Lewis have the larger version of my trampoline, so I’m going to be a bit biased with this one! You can buy a whopping 14ft TP271 King2 Trampoline for £416 from John Lewis and handy accessories are also available for a low price. TP trampolines are quality models with a lifetime guarantee; I’ve had mine for about 6 years and it’s still as good as the day I got it, so I definitely recommend giving this one a go.

Hopefully, I’ve covered the majority of budgets and sizes here and you can now shop for your cheap trampoline quickly and easily. If you purchase a trampoline in time for summer 2009, you’re guaranteed to have hours of fun and plenty of giggles this year and in years to come!

Pre-order Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 for the Xbox 360 and PS3

There’s great news for Call Of Duty fans everywhere, as the release date for the exciting new game Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has been set and it’s now available to pre-order from various stores.

I’m sure all the hard core Call Of Duty fans out there have already have the release date of the new game memorised, but for those of you who don”t know Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is due for release on Friday 27th November 2009 on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Call Of Duty: Modern Warefare 2 is a first-person shooter video game that, much like the last Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare game, will have a stronger focus on counter terrorism and modern war settings, instead of the familiar WWII battlefields that are featured in the older installments of the game.

Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warefare is the most successful game in the Call Of Duty series after selling well over 10 million copies, so we have high expectations for the new Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2!

Players will allegedly once again have the difficult mission of using modern firepower to defend the world against threatening enemies, but the new Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will have improved graphics and a much better ragdoll effect.

Gamers should also expect new maps and some seriously impressive ammunition, which will prove useful when trying destroy the enemy forces. As you’d come to expect of a game with a strong focus on modern conflicts, the new arsenal of weapons will demonstrate the importance of technology in modern warfare.

The people in the know are doing a pretty good job of keeping info about Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 schtum, but if you liked the last Modern Warfare game then you’ll probably love this one.
