New Series of The Gadget Show
I hate to break it to you, but it’s already started!
Yes, The Gadget Show Series 11 started last night, Monday 9th March, and came back bigger and better than ever! As you may be aware by now, we at MyShoppingTips simply love hearing and writing about the latest gadgets, which is why we simply love The Gadget Show.
They started the series with another of their great challenges. This time we followed Suzi and Jason in competing to film, edit and screen an action sequence, who fought using state-of-the-art special effects technology against consumer kits. We saw the likes of Panasonic and Samsung camcorders fight against FXhome VisionLab Studio and Alienware. They also discussed 3D TV, and compared Walkmans against iPods.
If you have never watched an episode of The Gadget Show, you may be wondering what it is all about. Well, it’s simple. A group of gadget and gizmo loving presenters put to the test the latest products in the world of technology, often comparing them against cheaper and more expensive models so that you, the consumer, can choose the right product for your needs and budget.
The Gadget Show seriously puts the gadgets to the test, putting them through a sequence of appropriate tasks to make sure that the gadget performs to the highest possible standard.
The presenters then analyse the results, often giving the products individual marks for performance, price, and design. They then add the marks up, and crown one of the products the winner or best buy, meaning you, the viewer, know which product is the best based on practical tests.
The great thing about this show is that appeals to both the more ‘geeky’ viewer who actually understands all the technological jargon, whilst remaining accessible to the rest of the public. The Gadget Show is great for those who are considering buying a new technological product, as they are (usually) unbiased, and want to help you make an informed decision without promoting a specific brand.
Above all else, The Gadget Show is simply an exciting, funny and inspiring show, even if you are not that bothered about gadgets or gizmos. The presenters are put through their paces in silly (yet informative…) tasks, and are always fun to watch making complete idiots of themselves!
So, if you are into ground-breaking technology, wacky competitions and just generally being kept in the know, then make sure watch the new series of The Gadget Show.
You can catch The Gadget Show Series 11, Mondays at 8pm on Five. The next episode airs Monday 16th March 8pm on Five.
