Review Cheapest ‘Grow Your Own Drugs’ book by James Wong

Grow Your Own Drugs by James Wong - Cheap Hardback Book available from Amazon.co.uk or Waterstones

Grow Your Own Drugs by James Wong - Cheap Hardback Book available from Amazon.co.uk or Waterstones

‘Grow Your Own Drugs’ by James Wong isn’t a book about hydroponics and naughty business, but a guide to natural remedies and beauty treats. The name certainly grabbed our attention, but what’s inside the covers will impress you even more.

James Wong now has his own television series on BBC which makes for interesting and very informative viewing. If you’re concerned about your patchy eczema or suffer from a spot of anxiety, this book has the remedies to help.

Author, 27 year old James Wong, is an ethnobotanist with plenty of natural remedies and organic tricks tucked up his sleeve. ‘Grow Your Own Drugs’ can help readers turn their gardens into medicine cabinets and urges them to make a trip to the garden centre, rather than the chemist, when they’re out of stock!

‘Grow Your Own Drugs’ has everything you could possibly need to cure everyday ailment from a herbal head lice treatment to a type of relief for the common cold. James Wong doesn’t stop at curing our health problems though! In ‘Grow Your Own Drugs‘ he also describes how to create gorgeous home made beauty products such as Lavender Bath Bombs and natural deodorants.

You don’t even have to be a keen gardener to ‘Grow Your Own Drugs’, as the majority of the plants needed for the remedies are herbs or weeds that can easily flourish in poor conditions and don’t require much attention.

James Wong will help you to understand how many of the ingredient used in over-the-counter medicines can actually be found in the very plant life that grows in your garden, but recommends that you consult your GP before using natural remedies, especially if you are pregnant, breast feeding or taking other medication.

If you purchase ‘Grow Your Own Drugs’ by James Wong today, you’ll soon be on your way to making clever concoctions to help sooth your cold sores, insomnia, sore throats and general aches and pains.

This book would make a brilliant gift or a nice treat for yourself and one of the cheapest places to buy a copy of ‘Grow Your Own Drugs’ by James Wong is Amazon.co.uk

Review to Find the Cheapest New Sony E-Reader PRS-505SC

Review to Find the Cheapest New Sony E-Reader PRS-505SC

Sony E-Reader PRS-505SC Digital Book

Sony E-Reader PRS-505SC Digital Book

Sony’s E-Readers have created controversy ever since they were released, with many wondering what is the actually point of a digital library.

With Sony E-Readers RRP-ing at around £229, excluding the thousands of book titles you can buy and download onto it, the Sony E-Reader is not exactly the most cost efficient way of reading your favourite, new or classic titles.

However, I believe there is a lot to be said about the Sony E-Reader. Firstly, the new E-Reader PRS-505SC can hold up to 160 titles at any one time, meaning you can carry around all your favourite stories should you suddenly desire to read one.

It also completely portable, meaning should you be on the road for a very period of time, or you spend a lot of time commuting to and from work, you don’t have to worry about lugging different books around. You can just keep the Sony E-Reader in your bag without worrying about what book to take with you.

The new Sony E-Reader PRS-505SC has been made even more portable due to the new slim design, meaning that it is both light and easy to hold. It is smaller than a typical paperback, is just 8mm thick, is very light due to the aluminium case.

And should you wish to add to the 160 titles you already have saved on the internal memory, you can use MS and SD cards to store even more, which is great considering there are thousands of titles to choose from. There is the possibility to hold up to 13,000 titles, and you can buy E-Reader eBooks titles from www.waterstones.co.uk.

But the E-Reader does not just store and display books; you can also view other document formats such as Adobe® PDF10, RTF, TXT, BBeB® and Microsoft® Word.

The best feature about the E-Reader PRS-505SC is its E-Ink technology, with realistic paper-like pages. Because there is no back light, it means that you can read the E-Reader’s titles even in bright sunlight without loosing readability. The E-Ink technology also means you can read the book up to an angle of 180degrees, great if you are lying down when you read.

The E-Reader is very easy to use, and lists the books by author, title and date. You can bookmark the page you are on as well as fast forward through the book to get to where you want quickly.

The E-Reader PRS-505SC only takes 4 hours to charge fully via a PC/ laptop (USB wire included), and will last for up to 6800 page turns from a single battery charge.

So, for all this technology you know it isn’t going to come cheap, but considering this is fairly new technology, that’s not exactly surprising .

You can buy the cheapest Sony E-Reader PRS-505SC for £219.99 from Play.com

The stressful nature of our economic climate has seen a vast rise in the sale of books and literature, with people o to tune out with a good book. But let’s be honest, books can often cost a fair bit, and choosing what to read can often be a chore in its self.

I actually have a degree in English Literature, and although I obviously love to read, walking into a bookshop faced with thousands of titles can be, well, daunting! This is why I simply love the new 100 Classic Book Collection now available on the Nintendo DS console.

I am yet to read many of the country’s and world’s best loved titles, and now I can have them all on one DS game, perfect! Make sure you grab yourself this cheap and affordbale 100 Classic Book Collection ‘game’!

I cannot possible list every title, but with authors including Charles Dickens, William Shakespeare, Jane Austin, George Eliot, Louisa May Alcott, Henry James, Lewis Caroll and Edgar Allen Poe, this Classic Book Collection is really diverse and will please all reading tastes. With classic literature titles including Little Women, Sense and Sensibility, Robinson Crusoe, Romeo and Juliet, Moby Dick, Wuthering Heights, What Katy Did and A Christmas Carol, I won’t feel embarrassed saying that this ‘game’ really gets me excited!

I love how the Nintendo DS is really appealing to a different kind of console game user. I find the pocket games console really easy and versatile to use, and simply love other problem solving games like Professor Layton and The Curious Village and the new Mystery Case Files MillionHeir games. These sorts of games, as well as the new 100 Classic Book Collection, mean that the Nintendo DS can provide the escapism we all often crave, without needing to be any good at actual computer games!
